We are pleased  to offer fully funded 2 PhD studentships in Earth to suitably qualified candidates for the academic year commencing 1st October 2013. Sedimentology projects are as follows:

 

1.       Alluvial fans as archives of fault activity: characterising the origin and fate of sediments transported from tectonically perturbed catchments

 

2.       Seasonality and Greenhouse-Icehouse Climate Change: An Eocene-Oligocene Case Study

 

3.       High latitude climate during the Cretaceous
